    Business Flood & DIC Insurance
    Flood Insurance

The federal government created the National Flood Insurance Program for those who own property in flood areas, both to ease the financial load on taxpayers for disaster-prone localities, and to assist with the mounting cost of flood damage.

If you possess property in a special flood hazard area, you are required to buy flood insurance, or you will not be eligible for federal assistance after a disaster. You may also be required to purchase flood insurance to finance the building of structures in special flood hazard areas. Lenders who are federally regulated or federally insured will establish if the property is located in a special flood hazard area and they are required to provide written notice requiring flood insurance.

    Difference in Conditions Insurance (DIC)

DIC insurance covers perils not insured by your Property Insurance. DIC insurance provides coverage intended to close specific gaps in standard insurance policies. It allows coverage to be extended to perils such as water damage, flood, collapse, earthquake, landslide, etc. DIC coverage may be provided as a separate insurance policy or it may be added by to your basic policy as an endorsement.

Our agents will take the time to assess your specific business insurance needs and structure coverage based on your risks and budget.
